COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa, including our restaurant venues, has always diligently practiced and maintained the highest standards of sanitization & hygiene. We are proudly Government of Indonesia regulation cleanliness standard CHSE certified by the Bali Tourism Office, and exceeded expectations on all requirements. Our already rigorous cleaning processes have now been enhanced with required preventative diligent safety protocols for when we reopen.

Here is our commitment to our guests & staff:

HAND HYGIENE
Proper and frequent handwashing & sanitization. Cleanliness starts with this, and is of vital importance for the health of our staff and that of our guests.

PUBLIC AREAS
We have increased the frequency of disinfecting the Public Area spaces, including high touch areas such as door handles, gym, bathrooms, Conference Rooms, & Day Lounge. You will find hand sanitizer at each space, and we encourage social distancing.

GUEST ROOMS
Due to the unique & beautiful infrastructure of our Resort, our guest rooms & villas are naturally distanced. In addition to our already rigorous cleaning processes & schedules during the guest stays & between guest departures & arrivals, extra attention will be given to high touch surfaces. All guest rooms will be provided with hand sanitizer. Please let us know if you prefer not to have housekeeping service during your stay.

BEHIND THE SCENES
In all of our back of house areas, we have also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, staff handwashing before and after meals, staff distancing, & face mask usage mandatory. Masks have been normal etiquette in Bali for many years. Special attention is also paid to our kitchen & restaurant / bar venues with food & beverage preparation.

STAFF TRAINING
The staff had already been practicing proper handwashing, however we have also increased the frequency of training to ensure our Health & Safety Policies are refreshed for every staff member, to also keep their families & island healthy.

SPA
If you do not feel comfortable having a treatment, that is ok. The Spa girls have all been trained & briefed on safety & sanitization, and we have a duty of care to ensure they are safe too. Should any appointments be canceled due to the therapist’s discomfort, we appreciate your understanding. All surfaces are disinfected to Australian standard with 70% alcohol, and we are using disposable sheets. Therapists will be wearing masks at all times.
