When nature’s playground is at your doorstep, the hot Bali sun is shining, and the crystal clear vibrant colours of the sea make it irresistible to get in the water, Nusa Lembongan offers many options to make the most of refreshing things to do while staying with us at Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa. We can not wait to have you back here. 2020 has been an unexpected time, and we are so grateful to be the light at the end of the tunnel for you. When you can get back to us, there is nothing like Vitamin Sea to cure all, so let us guide you with some of the best to get you back on some well-deserved On Island Time.
Surfing
The main attractor to the island, Nusa Lembongan has world-renowned surf breaks with something for every level of surfer. One of the best workouts, ride the waves alongside the local groms in the bluest waters with corals and tropical fish right below you. Or jump on your bike and head over to Nusa Ceningan for yet another good break! Just get out there.
Scuba Diving
Being located on the Coral Triangle, the islands are popular for endless visibility, density of beautiful corals and tropical fish, and even some manta rays and a mola mola if you are lucky! With plenty of PADI 5 star diving schools on the island, you will be well looked after. Some of the best scuba diving in the world is right here at your fingertips, not to be missed.
Freediving
Amazing for breathing techniques, focus, and underwater meditation, many guests are now opting to get rid of the tank and give freediving a go! With the same things to see as when scuba diving, freediving is good for the mind and body. Experienced or not, there are certified instructors on Nusa Lembongan who are happy to show you the underwater ropes.
Stand Up Paddleboarding
Another excellent workout, good for your balance and core. Float alongside the reefs with tropical fish, corals, and crystal clear water below you. Peaceful and good for the soul, another beautiful way to see some of the best Bali has to offer. Boards easily available only a 3 minute walk along the boardwalk, and a friendly local to guide you.
Snorkeling
When the ocean visibility is as clear as it is, snorkelers can often see just as much as the scuba divers! Manta rays, tropical sea life, and all the natural blues, it is so special to have the chance to see some of the best marine life right here. The team at Batu Karang can recommend some experienced and friendly locals to take you out on a private boat tour, and some are even known to be the “manta spotters” when in season! A morning excursion has guests coming back excited to share what they saw – even pods of dolphins have been reported! Not to be missed when staying with us.
Swimming
Simple, does not cost anything, there is nothing like a dip in the sea to rejuvenate. To cool off, exercise, refresh, or just because you want to get a little island salty, the sea is at our doorstep. The sea colours are irresistible in themselves, and a perfect way to balance the Bali sun.
Boating
For those who do not necessarily want to get in the water, island boat exploring is another way to enjoy island life. Be at sea and stay dry, it is also a great way to see some of the islands without any motorbikes or crowds. The boat Captains will know the secret spots on the islands to explore and pull up on a nice beach with no one else there – a special way to create more lasting memories!
Bottom line – get out there and experience some of the best of Bali on the Nusas. And don’t forget to charge your cameras!
